To celebrate National Cat Day, which is today, Uber is bringing kittens right to your door to cuddle! It’s basically like ordering a cat cafe via Seamless.
The UberKITTENS project works with various shelters throughout the country to give people a chance to hang out with cool cats that also need homes. The ride-sharing company has placed 30 kittens since the project began three years ago. After requesting the “kittens” option in the app, you’ll pay a $30 “snuggle fee” which helps support the shelters. Participants will then get 15 minutes of kitten playtime.
