A short audio clip of a computer-generated voice has become the most divisive subject on the internet since the gold/blue dress controversy of 2015.
The audio “illusion”, which first appeared on Reddit, seems to be saying one word – but whether that word is “Yanny” or “Laurel” is the source of furious disagreement.

SOLVED
I have to admit, the first time I listened I heard Yanny. When I heard it in this video, I heard Laurel.
And the answer is . . . . .
I'm sure we'll all sleep better tonight.

the first time i heard it the other day i thought it was saying Yolly or something and could definitely not hear Laurel or Yanny but then when i listened again earlier today i can only hear Laurel and its blown my mind a bit
