Something for the man who has almost everything.
A lovely gift idea for your henpecked husband!

Is this a ball sack, are they available on Ballsack Lane?

Reminds me of this fine use of Australian tax-payer dollars. Yes, it's a sky-whale with breasts. I don't know what the symbolism is, but make up whatever you like, you won't be too far from it.

That, my weird little friend, is a sky whale - built using Australian taxpayer dollars as an "Arts" project.

If I'm weird, that thing is bizarre!
Aussie taxpayers are getting ripped off. In 1967, there was a huge controversy when Canadian taxpayers (for the National Gallery) paid 1.8 million dollars for Voice of Fire a painting by Barnett Newman. It is a vertical red stripe bordered by two, (same size) blue stripes. In 1992 it was discovered to have been hung upside down.
However, today Voice of Fire is estimated to be worth over 40 million... if they could find someone stupid enough to buy it. That fuckin' 'sky whale' balloon will be worthless scraps in a landfill in five years.

You might be right in thinking there's some Feminism (capital F) involved in that one (according to hairy-pitted friends) so money for maintenance probably won't be an issue.Cruisemonkey wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2017 7:17 pmThat fuckin' 'sky whale' balloon will be worthless scraps in a landfill in five years.

Part of the design brief was that viewers would no longer see the city of Canberra as boring. Personally, I still find the city of Canberra boring, and unrelated, that thing is just a waste of taxpayer money. It's only brought out for special occasions.

The balloon could be used as a teaching tool - no one who sees it could forget whales are mammals.
I wonder if the 'nut sack' could be worth 40 million if given an evocative name, nailed to a wall and called art (at least the curators would be likely to get it 'right way up').
