Anyone have experience with this company? I went there and really over the structure they provide and their approach is very comprehensive which is something I need to get to the next level.

I went there and took an assessment so I have a good idea where I'd land. Love that they can even do that!

Yes, Mrs S and I did their pre-opening classes a couple of times a week over about 8 weeks. Recommend them, very professional, aimed at NGOs with dollars so are not cheap. Be aware that this is 'immersive' learning, strictly no English spoken by the teachers and this can be frustrating after 40 minutes or so in each session if that's not a good learning style for you. This is longer term learning.

Thanks for the feedback! I think I'm going to give them a shot! I was really impressed with the assessment they gave me.

i just checked it website at the moment. i was shocked with the fee. How come it can be that expensive. Moreover, i am quite curious about it teaching methodology. Howe come they can teach without speaking English. How about those who have zero khmer. Do you think they can understand what the teacher are talking about.

That's a legitimate teaching method called structured immersion, Samouth. It works, and quickly, but can be hard to handle in large chunks.

In most cases just one or two teachers. Teachers do a lot of role play, carefully introducing new words and phrases slowly enough for students to catch on to what is new or different.

So do they offer advanced classes?

Glad it works for you guys. i still can't get it. it is better to learn the language with native speaker, but in order to be able to understand your native speaker teacher, you have to at least know a little about that language. i still can't get it how people with zero level of khmer language can learn khmer without speaking English involvement.

Possibly something you need to experience, Samouth. Remind me next time we meet and I'll demonstrate.
