Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: In March 2022, the new electronic newspaper Thmeythmey.com plans to launch a training course on the production of "Documentary films". This course will be run by foreign and Cambodian professors.
Eric Galmard, Professor of Film at the Faculty of Arts, University of Strasbourg, France since 2009, is ready to transfer his knowledge to students or film enthusiasts in Cambodia. Not only is he a professor, but he is also the producer of several documentaries.
In addition to the French professor, Chan Lida, who has a Master's degree in Journalism from France, and has worked with renowned filmmaker Rithy PANH, will also share her work experience and documentary production techniques with this documentary filmmaking course.
The training course is divided into two sessions: Theory and practical courses.
