Monks Hand Over 41 Pieces of Ancient Buddha Statues to Apsara Authority
Cambodia News, Siem Reap Province: Preah Atrep Pagoda Chief Sem Sam Penh handed over 41 pieces of statues to the APSARA Authority for safekeeping after he collected them for temporary storage in the pagoda area on the southeast corner of the temple.
Regarding the preservation of this artifact, according to Chief Inspector Sem Sammean, the priest said, "Originally, these 41 pieces of sculptures were scattered in the area of Wat Preah Ind Tep, and some were at the back of Khoeun Preah Ang Tep, so therefore, in order to keep them safe, he also collected and stored in a shed on the south side of the pagoda to prevent possible loss and damage.
Chhouk Somala, an inventory officer with the Department of Preservation of Temples in Angkor Park and the Preventive Archeology of the Apsara Authority, said: “Among these sculptures are a large number of Buddha statues with only the eyes and the throne of lotus. Others feature only his feet standing on a pedestal. According to the examination, some of these statues were in the Bayon style around the late 12th to early 13th centuries and some in the medieval style around the 15th or 16th century.
After receiving information from the Angkor Heritage Protection Team, the inventory team of the Department of Temple Preservation in Angkor Park and Preventive Archeology and the APSARA Authority went to receive the above statues and kept them at the office of the Department of APSARA Authority for work. The pieces will be photographed and described in documents to aid with future repair work.

Looks like all the good bits are gone.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
