Do they have documented evidence of provenance?

It means can you prove that they are not stolen. "Provenance could be described as an immutable audit trail of ownership & location as it changes over time." Do not take his as a personal attack, it is something any reputable buyer would need, think of it as the title to the car you are trying to sell or say the deed to the "Brooklyn Bridge". Without provenance, it is likely a forgery, lotted or stolen property.

I suggest you read "The forgery, looting and illicit trading of antiquities.." https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/2bf1/a ... 1c9048.pdf

Buying stolen Khmer artefacts is on the same level as stealing babies
or eating the local wildlife.

Well, maybe not quite as bad as the last one.

Then surely your "well to do" Khmer friend doesn't need your help fencing priceless Khmer artifacts on CEO to a bunch of strangers?!?

Is everything going alright, PIEMAN?

It's funny how PIEMAN's inspiration to hock his rich Khmer friends looted antiquities came at 1:30am Saturday.
