Royal Water Festival 2023

Cambodia News(Phnom Penh): On 9th August 2023, the National Committee for National and International Festivals launched an introductory plan on the organization of the Royal Water Festival for 2023.

This year, the Royal Water Festival, floating lanterns, and worshiping the moon Ok Ambok will take place on the days of the lunar month, corresponding to 26th-28th November 2023, at Tonle Sap in front of the Royal Palace.
It will open the opportunity for the all the people to join in the fun and celebration of our ancient Khmer festival, which has existed since ancient times, with floating lanterns, fireworks, contemporary music, and art performances for three nights.
