Anyone tried the new EXNET mobile App taxi service operating in Phnom Penh?
i tried it yesterday and the fare rate is cheaper than normal meter taxi. Clean and good condition private cars.
I highly recommend their service. Just download the App on Google Play or App Store.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Thought it might be a service I might use. Until..Looks like spy ware. Why would a taxi service ap need access to photos/media/files, camera, wifi info, device ID? Hmmmm?

well I didn't get prob with the EXNET taxi (cambodia) App.
very professional & idiot free interface.
It's kinda cool that I even get receipt thru email with my full trip details as well as the map route.
will give a shout out for this EXNET Taxi App that finally I can get the same service like Grab and Uber in Phnom Penh. Fare rate is really cheap even cheaper than a tuktuk ride.

Wouldn't it just be better if Uber entered the Cambodian market?

I am a frequent user of Exnet taxi App but didn't know that I can get a discount for my ride. I will use this code soon.
By the way, I noticed that Exnet has more drivers lately. My normal 10mins waiting now goes down to 3-5 minutes.
Very happy that they are giving a faster service now and ofcourse still cheaper than any other taxi company.

I used it again the other day. This time one of the red taxis that I have seen around time showed up. The driver used the meter tied the app. For whatever reason at this time I tend to trust the app meter more then any taxi meter.

It';s not about problems with the app itself. It's the permissions you must give to download the app.

Once again. Why would a taxi service app need access to photos/media/files, camera, wifi info, device ID? Hmmmm? WIFI info ok maybe. Photos/media/files, camera, device ID not so OK with me. SPYWARE.
