This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Haha, I was gonna say that and the Lance Whitmore. They both got out of control.

I think the biggest global story CEO has had was about the American sisters that got naked in the Angkor Wat temples. Many of the intentional news outlets were using pictures that had our logo on them, and I even did an interview with ABC News over the phone.

The most disturbing was the one with live updates about KiR when he died, and maybe the one leading up to that.

I thought the recent one about that Indian teacher working at possibly the worst school in Cambodia while he was harassing a female applicant was pretty interesting, LoL.

And I'm always interested in topics about crimes and arrests, especially when it's a foreigner.

The topic about the man who runs a gay guesthouse in Siem Reap, working with street children to "clean up" the city, and keeping a very suspicious blog about his gay activities with "young boys" while he had also had trouble in his home country involving child pornography was quite disturbing.

How does someone like that not get ran out of town? Only in Cambodia. Image

The one about Gary Best, the armed and dangerous Canadian dude who went around robbing people and burglaring guesthouses was a trip! He's one of the first people I met in Cambodia (LakeSide, shocking I know) so the story seemed a bit surreal for me.

The one about the Jamaican dude who ran (still runs?) a wine bar in Phnom Penh and who might or might not have been trafficking girls was a strange one.

I even admit thoroughly enjoying most of the "$5 lady drinks" topic, LoL. That was the one about Sharky's, right?

Challenge: Is anyone able to find the top ten most viewed topics on CEO? I don't even know if that's possible, and fucked if I know how. Would be cool to see those.

I'll try to add links to all of the topics mentioned on here, but it might be a task for tomorrow. I have about a 10-hour drive tomorrow for a camping trip in the desert, and I assume I'll have decent coverage until a few hours out, but we'll see.

Liked this one: Nigerian Drunk Driver Injures 3 and Kills 1 in Phnom Penh

It's just the usual chat - side topic on Nigerian teachers, nothing to declare - and then suddenly things start to go silly on page 4 : :plus1:

This. I find it quite incredible that Trevor Lake (whose crime was to bang two prostitutes above the legal age of consent but below the age of consent for prostitution) was ostracized from the community and sentenced to 11 years in jail. But a man who has been convicted of owning child porn, who runs a blog dedicated to "beautiful little boys I play with in Siem Reap - while saving their little souls" was basically told; "hey don't worry about it - we've all done things we're not proud of in the past."

Only in Cambodia indeed.

Definitely the online feud/justification between Playboy & KIR!
Second was the 2 Oknha, murder at the fruit shop, motive & mugshots of the elite!
What ever happened to the culprit?
