Mekong Water Levels

Looks like we are heading for some of the lowest water levels on record.

There will be a good deal of suffering if the rains do not come in May.

Don't worry. The rain this year will come early and heavy.
I'm sinking a few wells on my land this month; tail end of a drought makes for the best time for a new well - it will always have water.

If enough of your neighbours drill too you'll be throwing money down a dry well.

Cute JA, but you avoid the issue. I live rurally too and I've seen it happen. My Auntie hopes you have good fortune.

You both say you live rurally/on the land, but of course you never post photos to prove it. Are you both ashamed of the few weedy rice plants you grow and the mango trees that have only one worm ridden mango on it.
OK ,, I forgot , you don't know how to use a camera. But that is no excuse , I will come and take the photo for you and post it on this forum .

Duncan, I don't know where this need of proof comes from, but I have lived in rural Cambodia for 14 years. We have a hobby farm, but live off of my Social Security and my wife's business.
With or without a camera obnoxious guests are unwelcome.

It's obvious with 14 years in the country side you have lost your sense of humour. Seems you are willing to take info from this forum but not add anything to it except ???? words. For your information , I have spent most of my life on farms, and hobby farms, from 1947 to 1995 [ 48 years ] and I am interested in what other members are doing , what they are growing and building . As they say , you can take a man off the farm but,,,, I know you would not need any advise on farming so I wont give any.
