Of course not, for many locals a prostitute is to be scorned. One that has sex with a barang is lower than low. I think that if it had been a 'normal' girl something might have been done.Thank god not everyone thinks like that. Good work from the KT reporter again. It's important that this stuff gets out into the expat community. Just because it was a prostitute this time doesn't mean it won't be a tourist next time. Not that the police would do much more if it was a tourist as has been proved already. I'm pretty sure the police have been known to rape the pretty local girls when they pick them up for drugs or prostitution anyway. Unless they have money of course. Be interesting to know just how connected the tuk tuk driver is. One would hope he wasn't just any old tuk tuk driver.
