I swear, one day...

Bloody funeral chants started at 4am, this morning, the house is vibrating

I got on the bike, went round to where they're doing the chanty-chanty wakey uppy shit and pretend my bike has a problem, revving it near the White House ostentatious show

Some guy come sup to me,Sir, please quiet, we have funeral

I ask him to repeat

Sorry, cannot hear, music very loud, oh funeral, sorry, bike problem, condolences

I really wish sometimes that every bloody chanter had been exterminated. I used to respect Buddhism before I came to this country. I know I shouldn't think like this, but the fucking noise! :dragonchase:

I think Buddhism there is a tri-bred, including Hinduism and Animistic stuff. (uneducated guess)

I know that in Europe in the most secular part the tourist who own house in the country side were successful in having the local church stop to used their bell on the Sunday.
Trouble for you, you are not in a secular country so no chance of this happening here :-) .

I don't think anyone's going to believe you. Everyone knows Harley Davidson bikes don't break down and they are really quiet machines.

Had a dead ceremony in (nearly) front of our home last week, fucking hell, that sometimes made my ears bleed. Really annoying. Woke up to chanting this morning as well, most likely by the same funeral ceremony as vlad's. What can one do. Nothing, basically.

I asked my girlfriend what the chanting is about, she said she doens't know because it's in Sanskrit  . So all this noise and almost nobody even knows wtf it's about.

Serious question: I really wonder how they did this before electricity was invented (and amplifiers). I understand it has to be that loud in order to inform the rest of the community about the death.

I don't know what's up with you lot. I quite like that plinky plonky music first thing in the morning and as for that chanting well it's a test of your mental character.
