Ey up chucks.

As many of here you are already aware I recently bought Quealy's and so after a lick of paint, a few new lights and a general spruce up (don't worry, I haven't changed it too much) we're gonna have a launch party for Jess@Quealy's this coming Tuesday!

Free beer 7-9pm, drinks specials all night and free food.

Oh, and it just so happens to be my 30th birthday party as well and the next day is a public holiday. Do you need any more reasons to come down and celebrate? I don't think so!

Tuesday, 17th June from 6pm. Quealy's bar, st 172 (near the corner of st 13)

Thanks so much for the support many of you on here have already given me, it's much appreciated. And remember, even if you can't make it down on Tue the offer still stands of a free beer if you introduce yourself to me.

Best of luck Jess, its a hard game at times, but can be very rewarding in a multitude of ways too. Can't make it up on Tuesday ( working!) but next time I'm in PP I'll try to drop in and introduce myself.

Why? He's one of the most honest posters on here.

He calls it like he sees it, some of his posts I don't get, but I'd have a beer or 10 with him.

It was a joke in relation to another thread he started. Just don't brag about the 10 beers you have.

Back on topic though, all the best for the new bar, Jess. When I was in Cambodia a few years ago I played with the idea of opening a bar, but never actually had the balls to go through with it. A few years later I'm working in England and constantly wondering what could have been. I hope everything goes well and I hope to pop in for a few beers next time I'm in town.
