Recently learned that “LBH” (Loser Back Home) is a term used in Thailand to refer to this genre of guy lol

Why do some women get so mad at the idea of shlubby white guys going abroad and dating third-worlders, are these men supposed to die alone for the crime of not being very attractive?

Something like this always make me chuckle, considering the quality of life I've had living in Thailand compared with my "peers" (let's say former schoolmates I still meet at reunions once in a while) back home who are by now either divorced or married to a fat cow their age. Most of them just seem plain miserable and look ten years older than me.

Losers Back Home could just as easily apply to Trustfunders who apparently don't do anything but stay afloat quite well, or say they're a freelance designer or something that just doesn't add up to anyone with modest observational ability.
It could be easily shrugged off as perhaps the viewer is a jetsetter/trustfunder/3rd world rich kid hostel owner themselves. But it just doesn't make sense to most people that a guy claims he's traveling the world based strictly off income from DJ'ing, or that he codes all day at the beach. Hookers can smell a phony. You know what they say about getting fucked at a courthouse and finding justice in a whorehouse.
Part of the point is that you don't gotta be shlubby. You can be slick and slide right in but it's not gonna stop people from talking.
I think these barbaric asian backwater people are way more clued in than we give them credit for.

i thought the series ( never watched 1 or 2) sucked an when they mentioned that the tsunami hit the next beach up, i stopped watching it

It pops up occasionally mostly on like Reddit forms. I've seen it used a couple times in passing over the years. I have a feeling after that season of The White Lotus it's going to become more popular.

Not at all. I understand your trying to equate both sides but we all know the type of living situation and opportunities in a developing country are not the same as Western country
