cable TV not working today??

By not working you mean no signal, as opposed to: poor picture quality, no schedule of programmes, channels that jump about (one week they're on 73 and the next 70) or others that just simply disappear altogether with no warning, or some that appear in the middle of the night but are gone again by breakfast, plus the usual odd assortment of programme selection which leaves you struggling to find anything worth watching among the 80-odd channels on offer? But, hey, for the few dollars they charge per month for this "service", you can't really complain.
