Nice. It will be an interesting experiment. But, on the other hand, if people are chatting then they are not necessarily posting in the forum as much as they normally might...which may make the numbers of new forum posts drop. We'll see how long it takes for trolls to emerge in the chatroom.

I do worry about that, but i think what it CAN do is keep the topics a little more on topic. with people being chatty over there and on topic in the threads.

we'll see... it's an experiment and easy to remove if it's a problem.

Oh boy, a chatroom!!

The chatroom might take posters' attention at the beginning, but I wouldn't worry about forums posts.
If anything, the chatroom might "die" a little past the initial interest.

OD, brutha, great idea, this along with the new idiot proof way to add pics to a post. CEO is getting better by the minute.

Your and the Gen's inginuity and effort are making this place a user-friendly (and just plain friendly), fun, useful and a worthwhile place to trade info, experiences, and just mess around.
