Work in Siem Reap

G'day there, my name is George and I've recently left Australia to go on long term shenanigans around South East Asia.
Now in my second month and me new bike, I've virtually mapped out all of Cambodia (except a few odd areas in the South West and the areas I am doing now) and will be heading back to Siem Reap shortly.
Unfortunately, I can't travel too much longer (maybe a month or two) and therefore I am planning to play it safe and look for work in Siem Reap.
I am learning the Khmer language very quickly and can hold in most instances a conversation of average length with locals that speak no English. Apart from my charming personality and extraordinary great looks, I've never had a problem with face to face contact and customer service, doing sales back in Australia for over two years
If anyone is looking for a sharp, bright and motivated individual to assist in work relative to the likes of sales or hospitality, then I would love to have a chat with you!

Yeah travelling in the boonies will teach you alot quick, but one young Aussie kid's idea of holding a convo is different from others. Good luck to the OP, don't forget to renew that visa... if you do, just come down to the Shv meet up and forget about the visas, according to some you'll fit right in! There's even a G'day Mate bar here!

Getting a job in SR is easy , however holding a job for 2 months without going completely bat-shit mental is the hard part.

i know 15USD is the average per shift for a Barang barman who knows a how to make a cocktail or at least pretends he knows,
Even Khmers GH owners have offered me 250USD a months to do there hostelworld bookings for a few hours a day.

Any right minded Barang wouldn't work for free in SR .

USD 250 is not going to get you very far in SR these days.

Full time bar tending averages around 500 USD plus perks might seem like a dream job but eventually people go downhill here might not happen straight away but in time most go down hill.
