The Only Way To Ride?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

The Only Way To Ride?

Apologies if this has been posted already, but I wondered if any others use the "camera technique", or if indeed it is a successful tool against the "tea money" police.

I want to wear my GoPro around. I have a feeling it will get ripped off my head.

I think it would scare coppers off. They couldn't possibly want to be on video.

I wear one now and then when I'm going out of town on a dirt ride and used to wear one in town now and then as well, but I don't think I've been stopped a single time in the past three years or so. They've really turned to cars as of maybe a year ago or so. Even when I'm breaking the law they don't really make try to flag me down. Hard to tell if it would have an effect.
