River Cruise Boat for the Masses

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

River Cruise Boat for the Masses

Post by Otis »

A few years ago I went on a boat w. my gf that charged some small amount [about $1 to $2.50, higher figure for barang] to get on. They had beer and some food for sale if you wanted and cruised around for about an hour. It was great fun. Do they still have this? I haven't been able to find it.

Pretty sure they still have this. Likewise if you have enough people you can rent a full boat for a few hours for $18 - $25 if I recall. I've done this a few times and always pass a boat that looks like to what you are referring.
The cedar roasted asparagus has good chew. I don't know how to enjoy it, so I'll Instagram it instead.

there is one by titanic that launches every 30 minutes after 5.... It costs barang 5 dollars (even showing bank card, work id card, etc) and khmers i believe is 10000 riel or maybe even only 5000 riel. It is a lot quicker then an hour, maybe a half hour...but there is food and drinks before you get on....

Also you could just take the ferry at naga both ways and get the same experience...500 riel one way for a person, 500 riel for a moto (if you choose to take one)
