Did something happen at Beirut restaurant tonight?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Did something happen at Beirut restaurant tonight?

Post by dontbelievethehype »

Drove by around 7:30. Crowd gathered, out front, thought at first, typical accident and mongering session, but seemed like something different went down. There looked like a mess right in the entryway, like a fight maybe?

I went to that shithole once.. there was a long black hair in my gyro sandwich... when i informed the manager he replied... "well, it's not mine." Needless to say, I'll never give them my business again.

That is for sure poor customer service. On the other hand, Beirut is a well known and respected place for what food it does serve. I have only eaten there about 6 or 7 times, always great. I've never had problems. Sometimes, hair gets in food * Shrug*. Shitty he didn't replace the food for you. I am always more concerned with the cleanliness of the kitchen and if they wash their hands when the should or not vs a hair.
