Door to Door Immigration Checks in Siem Reap

Just a heads up for forum members in Siem Reap, immigration are going door-to-door today checking visas and work permits. If no work permit, they are not fining people but giving them 14 days to sort their act out.

I'll wait for more details. Story doesn't make complete sense. I've seen too many people over the years completely misinterpret things as simple as a sangkat check, to accept at face value a vague 'two weeks till doomsday story' from facebook. Something might be going on but we need more details before determining what it is.

I'm not sure how, we've been visited by immigration and given fourteen days to get a work permit, qualifies as vague? It was not the sangkat but immigration.

I was passed by a brand new high end make Immigration truck/SUV in Snookyville the other day. Like sharks, they must smell blood(Money source.)

I applied in January. Still waiting for the document, as are many others. Two weeks? Tell them to fuck off.
