Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): After receiving information about a case of violence, the Tuol Kork Police Inspectorate immediately investigated the case and received a complaint from Wen Vicheka, 24-year-old Cambodian woman (owner of a Facebook account named Bee Yinna). On February 9, 2021, the police have identified the perpetrator and summoned the victim, Ven Vicheka, and the perpetrators, Cheat Chamrong, female, 30 years old, Khmer nationality and Meas Seiha, 27 years old, Khmer male friend.

The perpetrator, Cheat Chamrong, did not appear in person, leaving her lawyer to represent her because she was hospitalized.

After hours of negotiations at the Tuol Kork Police Inspectorate, both the victim and the perpetrators of the violence have not reached an agreement or compromise, so the competent authorities of the Tuol Kork Police Inspectorate have prepared a file to be sent to court to follow the legal procedure on February 10, 2021.
