Shout out to Roomchang !

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Shout out to Roomchang !

Post by chinesetakeaway »

Went yesterday to have a crown refitted after coming off flossing. Originally had it done at Roomchang about 4 years ago. Anyway after over 40 minutes of removing the old bonding and refitting they said it was FREE ! Not sure if all dentists there give this service but I've been using Dr Pheakdey for years.

Well, they charge enough the first time around that I'd expect it to be free!

I went there to have a tooth removed a couple of years ago. No complaints about the service but they are pricey. I've since been with a Khmer friend who needed a tooth removed and he went to a place that charged about a third of the price and the procedure was exactly the same. I think it's a classic case of believing that the more you pay, the more capable the hands that treat you must be, which isn't always the case.

But what business is it of mine what dentists people choose and how much they're willing to pay? If you're satisfied with your treatment, only you can decide if it was money well spent.
