Closing and/or Moving around.

Have not posted anything for a while, but boots on ground (Cambodia) info is always of interest to me. Haven't been back to KOW in about 2 years now.

Now for the topic/questions at hand.

What long-time establishments in PP (or Cambodia in general) have closed or moved due to the recent Virus upheaval?

The reason I ask is on a whim I was on Google Maps and looked up "Picked Parrot Phnom Penh" and was surprised to see that it was no longer on St. 104, moved to St. 136? My first time there was in 2006, I know it changed owners a couple of years ago, but moving? As a side-note it looks like (from the Map) that there are a lot fewer bars on St. 104?

How is the riverfront doing these days? Places closing?

Thank you in advance for your replies and input.

Rents go up, businesses change location.

I asked nearly the same question, but no-one replied.

It appears CEO members are only interested in the massage parlours that are closed or closing down.

That is one thing that will always confuse me..... the saving face aspect of business were someone would rather save face and have a place empty (joining many others) rather than lose face and lower rents in a down market. Or have I understood that wrong?

You're more virtuous than some other CEO members, because instead of enquiring about places to go for a massage like they do*, you enquire about places to go for a drink (which have staff who will probably be prepared to have sex with you if you want) ? Is that about right ?

*you don't need to go out for massages because you can just call up English backpackers to come round your house for a massage/dildo sesh.
