I have seen it twice now:
First time it happened I was driving on national road 6A just across the Japanese bridge and saw a naked Khmer guy (don't ask how I figured he was Khmer) walking on the side of the road near that new crazy looking mall towards Japanese bridge. Everybody around was giggling and staring so I figured that was not something they see everyday
And today again, I was driving in the same area and this time it was a naked woman also walking casually on the side of the road towards Japanese bridge. She looked like she was from some sort of tribe and had never used a hair brush.
So how many of you see random naked Cambodians walking the streets?
Is their some naked tribe living in the area?
I really can't think of a logical explanation

The random Cambodian neighbours who's balcony looks straight into our fifth floor apartment often see naked barang, but that's probably not relevant.

They're mentally ill. We have one down here as well.

There's no real support system for dealing with them, so they let them wander and scavenge (which they're quite good at) and pretty much just ignore them.

I've only seen a few over the years. Scary as shit when you see them. .

The one here is a REAL psycho though... I nabbed a bit of her on a video while I was filming the cops doing their thing, they completely ignored her and the danger she posed as she ran headlong into traffic.

no, she was 'fine'. that time.

What's the answer for people who can't look after themselves, and don't have a custodian? I know of a kiwi couple that provide end-of-life care for as many dying Khmer as they can handle, but obviously that has operational and logistical limits.
