Like the Bali's 'Kuta Cowboys'


or the japanese Gaijin hunter.

When that taxi driver asked me if i liked khmer women, i asked him back if he liked barang women. He said he liked but they didn’t like him.

I think there is a lack of confidence of asian men about white women. Especially in asian country where you are not used to meet and speak to them frequently.

I think it might not be a dedicated thread on this vid as such...rather, he added to another existing thread @phuketrichard so maybe this topic can stand.

I know a driver who used to be a bit of a charmer and had quite a few casual encounters with western tourists.

Plenty of young Khmer guys who go after female tourists in SR, Shk/Otres and on the islands. Female backpackers are usually down for whatever, they leave all their inhibitions at home.

There was a tuk tuk driver on the lakeside in the mid 2000s who was living with an Australian woman for at least a few years. Maybe they are still together, it seemed to be working.

It is certainly not against the strict code of conduct of the United Tuk Tuk Drivers of Cambodia Giuld, but of course we are always perfect gentlemen anyway.
