What areas actually comprise 'Riverside' in your* mind?

I am aware of the actual map of what is included within 'Riverside' but the map in my head for what I* consider to be Riverside is a much smaller area. For me* Riverside consists only of st104 to st184 from the river to Preah Norodom. If I cross Preah Norodom for me* I have left Riverside. I developed this internal map in 16' without thinking about it. I think the reason is the area i* specify as 'riverside' includes places i can easily walk to day or night...i can easily walk to GSM in daytime. I have done so more than once at 2am...but at 2am some of those streets feel 'sketchy' late at night to walk down... :beer2: :beer2: :beer2: :beer2

Norodom? I think you’re going a bit too far. :?

I’d say Riverside is Sisowath quay between Cambodiana and 102. One block towards Norodom or two to be generous, but 3 I think is too much.

Agree with that.

If you're going to the riverside, then you're going to the riverside, i.e Sisowath. There's no river on Norodom. In fact, I wouldn't consider a block or two from Sisowath to be considered riverside.

I guess it depends on how old the Op is - there is a case for "riverside" extending as far as Monivong boulevard?

But in reality, riverside is anywhere alongside the river - even from my limited time here, riverside could have meant a sunset drink at Maxine's as well as anything along Sisowath.

In terms of 'Riverside' being a district, this is how I view it as well.

It used to start around St 90 in front of the CDC building but that part is blocked off now so I'd only consider it to start opposite 106. It used to only start at 154 but the warehouses and sheds on the east of Sisowath were removed in the early 90s. I have no idea why 184 would be considered the end, it has extended to near 240 for decades and there is now a walkway all the way to the Aranyakaset Ferry.

Take a look at some real estate agent listings for "Riverside". Only a tiny fraction of them will be on Sisowath Quay. It's a district/area/zone, not a street. You guys are too literal.
