My Cialis, bought at a large chain of modern pharmacies in pp turned out to be fake.

So,

I had some special planned at home for tonight and happened to open up some Cialis i bought from a very reputable multi-chain modern pharmacy late last year.

I had already taken one of the pills from the box, last year, but then decided to stop taking Cialis because I felt crappy.

It got my teeth chattering, almost like how meth and speed have been described by people.

Even when i was younger, I never liked anything that felt like an upper. My personal preference was always a nice drink, or a smooth roll.

So i stayed off the next pill in the box. Just assumed Cialis is not for me.

Which brings me to today, when i decided to give it another try.

Just on a hunch,

i googled how the packages should look like, and found quite a few sites that confirmed it.

I had bought fake Cialis. (Not generics)

Here's one:
https://www.safemedicines.org/2011/06/a ... anada.html

but you can find many more sites with more information on how to spot the differences on your packaging.

Please DON'T be an idiot like me. Check your packaging if you have any lying around tonight.

I bought my Cialis from a reputable pharmacy in PP, Because i wanted to be safe, and spending a bit more was worth it. Hahahah...

But it turns out the fakes don't discriminate. They might be in any pharmacy.

This is the exact packaging I have, although with a different date.

Fakes can contain anything... at best it's weaker, at worst it kills you.

Generics tend to be just diluted, impurer versions of tadalafil. Although generics can also be fake.

So take care fellow men.

Take an extra minute to verify the packaging of these types of meds.

edit:
Even more so if you bought Cialis because it's not as dangerous as Viagra and you can have a few moderate drinks with it.

No idea how the fake pills will react to alcohol.

(I refrained from posting photo's of my packaging because it may identify the pharmacy I got them from. If a mod wants to see them, I'll take a few pics for you)

Can only be one I think. Why not just name and shame them, especially because they're so 'reputable'?

I care for your erectile functions...

I'll refrain from naming them, until I've had a chance to check at another branch.

But i'm also not going to go out of my way to check. Only if i manage to find some time next week.

Might check a other reputable places around the city center, ttp and riverside area when i'm in the area out of curiosity.

Btw, thanks for Caring... I appreciate it a ton.

Why do you call a fake ? it doesn't work or you have no idea about how it should work ?

Everybody uses Aptalis the Indian Cialis and it works perfectly.

And how much did you pay it ? I do not believe in any danger, but paying the high price for a fake is not acceptable.

Because I bought the actual brand, Cialis.

Not generic tadalafil, which is what Aptalis and the other brands are.

And also paid a much higher price for it because of the brand name.

You can't blame pharmaceuticals for what might be just a hopeless case of erectile dysfunction.

You can indeed of purchased a fake..
That is why you can go on line and compare a real pill to fakes and packaging..
There are so many knock off cialis and you just got taken..
The others are correct..buy the Indian generic..
I know that paying $40+us for original viagra in pp is waste of money...
chinese sell fake meds all over the world..
They have flooded Africa with fake meds of every type..
Even reputable pharmacies sell bullshit.
I have had real viagra not work and given it to friends who complained they did not get the raging hard on they had hoped for..
Your mood can make a difference..

Just to clarify, I never said it did not work. In fact it worked really well the first time I used it.

But it was not the tadalafil manufactured, by Cialis. It probably contained sildenafil + a variety of other low-quality stimulants like caffaine, ephedrine, etc.

Which is not what I was looking for. And if I'm putting something into my body, I should be able to choose the type of medication based on personal medical background and lifestyle.

Some of you mentioned generics, and generic drugs still have to pass health and compliance tests to safety standards.

Fakes on the other hand can contain anything, since it comes from some unsanctioned lab, in some hole. They don't need to pass any tests, and are injected into the market supply under the cover of shadows.

That's rolling the dice.
