You have to be Khmer, and here are the other requirements:

ACU to recruit 75 additional personnel
16 January 2020 | 23:14
The Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) is reinforcing its operations with the recruitment of 75 officers, it announced on Tuesday.

Those interested in applying for the position can send their applications from February 1- 29. Applicants will have to sit an examination, the ACU said.

Fifty-one of the 75 positions will be based in Phnom Penh and the rest in the provinces.

Affiliated Network for Social Accountability executive director San Chey said the unit must put extra care to make the process as transparent as possible to live up to its mission.

“This is the anti-corruption unit, so the whole process must be very transparent and fair for all candidates,” Chey said.

ACU official Tep Chansokunthea told The Post on Thursday that he hoped the announcement will attract young applicants. While the application fee is only 5,000 riel ($1.25), applicants will also have to pay a 35,000 riel fee to sit the examination.

“Candidates can grab an application form and submit it to the ACU’s headquarters from 7:30am to 11:30am and 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, from February 1-29,” the announcement said.

ACU head Om Yentieng said in the announcement that only Cambodians may apply. Applicants holding a doctorate may apply regardless of age, while those with a master’s degree cannot be over 40 years old.

Those with a bachelor’s degree cannot be over 35, associate degree holders cannot surpass 28, and those with a high school certificate must not be older than 25.

According to the ACU’s announcement, candidates must also submit a background form, a copy of their degrees, a criminal record, and a health checkup, among other documents. All documents will have to be certified. Applicants will be asked to bring the originals for verification.
