Maybe - "I have made very bad life choices. I am so dumb I wear a woolly hat in 38°heat. Please help me - I'm hopeless".

It will do. It probably a sign nicked from somewhere and used to hold up to elicit sympathy from barangs, that she is so desperate as to beg from Khmer. It might says "chickens for sale" etc. If she can speak and write Khmer, what is she up to standing there?
