Dogs

Here is a video of dogs being aggressive towards a cyclist in Greece.
The same thing can happen in Cambodia. I have not seen that many dogs in one place, but it is not uncommon for there to be 5 or 6 or more. You can meet aggressive dogs almost anywhere, but they can be worse in farming areas, where there are few other houses around.
I have not been bitten, but I know of one foreigner and many Cambodians who have.
If going to those areas, either cycling or walking, you need to know what to do if you come across aggressive dogs. Like:
Keep your eyes on them, they like to get people from behind, but not all dog bites are from behind. Dogs sometimes bite prey or humans who are running away.
Carry a stick or piece of bamboo, and swing it at them. If they get too close, hit them.
Pick up stones, and throw it at them. If there are no stones, act like you are picking up stones.
While cycling, I have occasionally kicked dogs in the head, that may have otherwise bitten me.
Stay away from dog fights.
If the Cambodian owners see dogs being aggressive, most of them will call the dog away, but you could be bitten before the owners have a chance.
