I don't think it's been posted before. I hadn't read it anyway. A Chinese guys writes about a friend of his who was lured to Sihanoukville with incredible wage promises, and then he finds out the hard way that if things sound too good to be true, then they probably are.

sadly, this sounds so familiar. Happens quite a lot with large-scale foreign labour operations in SEA. Maids, Construction crew and now, coders.
