I see posts you guys trying to find good local girls. I’m wondering if one wanted to date a western girl, how and where would one need to go to find some in Cambodia? Any suggestions?

Wait until they get into your tuk tuk and then make creepy advances at every one of them until one says yes.

Around swimming pools, bio food groceries, zumba lessons, meth selling spots, cooking lessons spots, clothing spots, tea-saloon art galleries, in the backrooms of shady casinos in Poipet, or drinking their tits off on riverside.

Some of them might be wrong, i'll let you guess which ones.

Go to the NGO hangouts. With all the other Barang guys going after Khmer girls you have little competition.

Remind me again to take a beer to the brewery 'all you can drink for free' tour...

But just to keep on topic it's the same as pulling any bird anywhere.

There is no difference whatsoever.

Where do Western "ladies" hang out - just about everywhere except hostess bars and KTVs.

It is the same as in a Western country. You cant say I will meet one tomorrow, then go and meet one. But from time to time you meet them, particularly if you are outgoing. Some are not friendly, but many are.

Some are travelling, and don't stay very long.

I have hung out with a lot of girls from many different countries while in Cambodia, but not pursued a long term romantic relationship with any of them.

Girls often like to meet new people, and hang out with them, particularly if they travel alone, or if there is only two of them. If you know the place and they have recently arrived, they are often glad for someone to show them around. Some are happy to be with someone for security. If you speak Khmer, you can take them to see things and meet people in Cambodian villages. I have taken some girls to meet some of the very poor, and some of the homeless Cambodians. One girl had a motorbike. I gave her a tour of the area, riding her motorbike, with her on the back (it was a place with little traffic). One girl wanted to learn Khmer. So I hung out with her and taught her.

Some girls just want to have fun with no commitment.

There are some who would like to get a husband, particularly if they are late 20s or early 30s. A few of the girls I hung out with were keen to get a husband, one was Dutch, one was Jewish, another was Korean (yes I know, not all Western). I have met Jewish girls in Cambodia from Israel, Australia, England and South Africa.

Volunteer on your gap year.

I can always tell a western girl when walking behind them. Without fail, they grab their purse. Some are so nice they even let me go in front of them at the ATM.

This aspect I truly don't miss being in the west.

Years ago I was a couch surfing host and many western girls stayed at my place for a few nights. Great memories.
