The silly season?

I still enjoy the tuk tuk, and they look very happy. That is what vacation should be all about.

Re: Young Western Tourists Enjoy First Tuk-Tuk Ride in Cambodia
I prefer a real tuktuk to passapp, but the tuktuk guys who live across the road from me don't want to go out in the daytime now. They must be doing good business at night with the Chinese and casinos, because they are always asleep in the day, so now I call passapp when I need a tutktuk.
I was only using the neighbors' tuktuks because I thought they needed the business, (support your neighbors), but I've been over there twice to wake them up recently and now I understand.

If you scroll down on the PassApp page it has SUV, Indian style Tuk Tuk, Classic (saloon), and then just below that out of view is Khmer Tuk Tuk. It's good if you need to carry anything bigger than a goat.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
