Cambodia visa on arrivals cancelled?

Post by Randolphgb »

Does anyone know if Cambodia visa on arrivals are cancelled?

There a post on Thai Visa which suggests Phnom Penh Airport is no longer issuing them (https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/115470 ... cancelled/)

Also, if they havent been cancelled, is it possible to fly in and out on the same day at Phnom Penh? There's one day left to d it before Thailand effectively closes its borders which prevents visa runs.

No entry for the passport holders of the following countries. The person in the case cited in the link had a German passport, which is on the banned list.

The 24 hour minimum stay only applies to SR airport, not PP.

This insurance will work as long as US CDC doesn't declare Thailand a level 3.

A guy who was stuck in KL posted on FB he wasn't able to get a flight to PP but got one on Jetstar via Singapore. He said he had to have a valid Cambodia visa and they checked before letting him board. So that would rule visa runs out - if you could even get on a flight in the first place.

Also, Singapore is stopping transit from midnight tomorrow night anyway.

Plus there are contradictory second hand accounts stating: Poipet border was closed and Koh Kong open; and ALSO Poipet open and KK closed. So no help there from that info. Good luck getting anywhere.

Be careful what you post. I'm still double-checking this, but I think that this means that you can't enter Singapore on a stopover or transit through Singapore to go to Malaysia :
All short-term visitors: No entry or transit through Singapore
, because elsewhere on the website it says in FAQ; updated 22 March 2020:

Question, 8: https://www.ica.gov.sg/docs/default-sou ... asures.pdf

So I think that you are mistaken Timmy, but if you have some information from a better source, please post it.
