Like Visa cards are so heavy that you need to put them in your backpack. So many naive people travel and can't even hold onto their most important items, which are their cards and their passport. Your holiday is going to quickly turn into a pain-in-the-ass or nightmare if you lose these. If you can't fit them in your pocket get a bigger pocket, just FFS don't put them in a bag.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

And also doesn't say if they were smart enough to have a extra visa card to their other bank accounts in their bag/pockets. But I doubt the couple were sharing one visa card between them They will probably just cancel the lost card and move on . Such is life when you are on the move.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

So true ! I wonder why in 20 years travelling to the worst and most dangerous places in the world, it never happened to me to lose or get stolen anything ?!
