Expression of gratitude

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Expression of gratitude

Post by taabarang »

First and foremost I am endebted to Ot Mian Loi who got the ball rolling: quite persuasively so, I might add. At no time did I suggest he do so. As you know I have bigger issues at stake which consume my energy and time. Nonetheless we are kindred spirits from another forum. He knows Cambodia well and like me has a low threshold for pap.

Secondly I am obliged to Username taken. Unbeknownst to me my wife had written two messages to Admin which sat around unanswered for several hours. When she informed me that she had done so, I immediately messaged UT who helped me solve some log in problems. UT, you have been promoted to "my favorite mod" position. Sorry Jamie and Frank, but you are still Hall of Famers.

The most positive change I've witnessed in this forum is the enlarged contributions of Kung Fu Hillbilly. His photography alone is breath taking, but when that same unique well crafted point of view is added to his anecdotal run ins with SE Asian encounters, this forum profits highly.

Now a final word to those I have verbally abused in the past. I have no. regrets and nothing to lose. Fxxk off and press your magic little ignore button. Or else learn how to roll with the punches.

"Attention whore"

Once again you fail to meet the low standards you set for yourself.

Sarcasm doesn't always translate well on forums...hence, a :stir: or :) can make all the difference. (hint hint)

By the way, Taabarang I'm the new mod on the block (not to be confused with member: new kid on the block :) ) FLB has retired from mod duties.

Hi Clutch. First, I've been around here for a long time, there's no confusion on my part.
Tho retired, Frank is a Hall of Famer.

Arrogant, intractable and unrepentant as always.

In the midst of this frothy love-fest, as the General already touched on, taa was permabanned for cause. Lest anyone forget that little detail.

If you start reverting to type I'll be first in line to jump down your throat feet-first.

But I'm hoping for the best.

You started this ball rolling @Cinnamoncat I hope it becomes everything you hoped it would be.

All those hopes and dreams realized ; )
I am happy to push the ball, but I won't be Sisyphus again any time soon, so y'all better behave! Although that said, when you don't, it's always more interesting.

The porcupine isn't really very interesting without his quills now, is he?
