Chinese Armed Forces of Cambodia
Chinese Armed Forces of Cambodia
I sit near Orange, I see that a military vehicle with the numbers of the Royal Army of Cambodia is parked and the Chinese in shorts come out of it.
How do these people relate to the Cambodian Armed Forces, I wonder?

I can't make out which branch he is in,
but he seems to have been promoted from major-general to brigadier-general between these two photographs being taken,

CRP nationals have been a part of government for at least 25+ years and probably with military titles.
I know of one who was in a section of the government had his own bodyguards and carried a legal firearm. That was about 20 odd years ago.

What's the problem in this case for expats living in Cambodia?
There are people who cannot imagine that there are other ways of life than their own life.

Another country that has military working in foreign nations...
Re: Chinese Armed Forces of Cambodia
Not really an apt example. It's my understanding that the United States in general does not have its military members wear the uniforms of and flag/rank insignia of the host countries that invite them to be a presence therein.
