I'm getting married in December. Can anyone recommend a good wedding band? A Cambodian band that is not crazy expensive and is actually . . . very good? Maybe one that can sing a few songs in English? Thank you!

You honestly think you're going to get any say in this decision? My advice would be to step back from all wedding arrangements, lest you want to go insane, and let the locals do what the locals do. Most of the arrangements will be completed about 0-4 hours before the event, this is normal.

If it’s for your wedding, it won’t matter. Between wardrobe changes, pictures, and ceremonial dirties, you’ll never have time to enjoy it. I sure didn’t.

If hiring for some activity where you might get a chance to enjoy the music, have you gone with your significant other to the local nightclub? Owners there might be able to guide you in the direction for a band you might want.

At these weddings the Groom is superfluous. You will not be thanked or appreciated for trying to help.

Just stump up the money, keep out of the way and let them do all of the work. There will probably be fights and arguments but at least you can't be blamed.

And don't expect anything to run on time. Time keeping has no meaning at these weddings.
