$2 anyone?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. $2 anyone?

Post by bobsboots »

The cashier in Prince mini mart ( 51/174) just tried slipping a $2 bill in with my change. As I was leaving I noticed him slipping it back into the till.
WTF.

The sequence of events is not particularly lucid. How or why did he get the $2 bill back to slip into the till?

It's very lucky to keep one in your wallet.

That's one of my favourite songs by stalwart UK band Crass.
At least they remembered the question mark.

I find it very fortunate indeed to have any money to keep in my wallet.

Well I kind of noticed the said bill and mentioned it to the kind gentleman, who smiled expansively as I gave it back to him, shaking my head and tutting. Is that lucid enough ?
