I dont like PP. I spend most of my time in smaller towns.

Could have something to do with this for our older male CEO members..

Maybe do some volunteer work

A few ideas I find useful for myself:
Count your blessings. Focus on the good things you have in Phnom Penh.
Every evening, think about the good stuff that is happening to you for a few minutes.

It could be a lot worse.
How would someone in Venezuela feel about the full super markets and pharmacies in Phnom Penh?

Ask, “how can I be of service, or how can I add value to this town?”
You can start small and start right away:
Smile, flirt, and make people around you a bit happier.


Don’t sweat the small stuff for too long.

I recently had a bit of a health scare. Everything turned out to be allright, but for a few days my whole focus was on perhaps being seriously ill. This helped to put things in perspective, at least for a while.

Could you be more specific about why you are cynical and bitter in PP ?

Is it because of the places you hang out in and the people that you frequent ? Is it the price of pineapples, or the tuktuk drivers that drive you nuts ? Are you unlucky in love ?

Is it PP or is it you ? I get the cynical bit and I think that's healthy to a certain extent, but not so much the bitter bit. That's not good. Take a holiday maybe or move house. Change your habits. Find some positive things to do for yourself.

Lol. I would never live in PP, so my 2c FWIW.

I don't feel cynical and bitter in Phnom Penh. i reserve that for home. Is this normal?
