I miss being able to talk like that with friends (and strangers). If a Cambodian here said the same to him I'd have no reason to believe he was taking the piss.

No Brit would stupid enough to call the police after driving into a ditch. call a tow truck maybe,.would love to get the full story. my guess soneobe forced him off the road, but he seems pretyy calm about it

I had this exact thing happen to me. Some bint on her mobile phone swung into my lane and forced me into the brush, and that's why I personally called the police instead of AA or my insurance. Not sure it's what happened to him but entirely possible.
