Day 1 Wedding Ceremony

First day of the wedding ceremony.
Now this is a ceremony at the village with all the bells and whistles. If long posts about village life is unappealing, please skip.
Starts with decorating the entrances to the bunker.
Singers, band, not even dressed. Already the music is starting.
Music started early, not even dressed yet.
The temple chief rings the gong and announces the start of the ceremony. Almost no one is attendance.
Formal introductions.
Apsara dancers throwing down flower petals for luck.

Then it was time to pay respects to the ancestors. The monks came to bless us.
Pray, pelted with flowers, pelted with water. Rinse and repeat.
Not only do we get blessed, so do all the family.
Then the evening party.
Party shook even the bunker.
Fortunately ended around 9 or 10 PM.
This was the late day start, around noon.
Much earlier for day two.
