When ever something needs to be done I have a 9 year old girl that is always ready to tackle the job like removing a broken bike stand and I don't help but stand by and give instructions.

Got her to adjust the chain on the other bike while on the job

Independence is a great trait for a young un to have. Not only save money doing it yourself but gives an understanding of how it works.

Good thing you've got proper tools. Can't imagine trying to do that with the Khmer tool of choice, a tomahawk.
