Were they robbed as well ? The post is a bit vague. "Sometimes"they are sexually assaulted seems to indicate that the attacker's goal is not always sex/rape ?
I have no problem believing that this is possible, but agree with Gardi that it would be useful to know where the alleged victims were drinking. When there were druggings down at the beach in Sihanoukville, there were one or two bars that had this problem repeatedly. At least you knew which places to avoid.

Not bating for the other side I would not know, but is this normal behavior in gay bars?

There is this argument now that if you have sex with someone who was drunk, it's rape because they were too intoxicated to give consent. Presumably this means that if a sober woman has sex with a drunk man, she is a rapist, just as a sober man would be for having sex with a drunk woman.

But what if both people were drunk? Do you lock them both up for raping each other?

If men cant have drunken sex how the hell are ugly women ever gonna get laid???
