This is the second time in 2 weeks some girlfriend of one of my barang friends has told my wife some shit that said friend supposedly said about her. Each time equating to that friend thinking she used to be a prostitute (which she never was). And for one of them I'm 100% sure it's not something said friend said, for the other I'm about 90% sure though they can get a little batshit when they're drunk so a small chance remains. Though in this last case it wasn't the ex himself, but his best friend (also a friend) who supposedly said it. I've filled him in on it and he's getting to the bottom of it all.

In both cases to my knowledge the girls weren't prostitutes either, but were down for putting out for these boyfriends.

Going on the assumption that both times it's just the Khmer girlfriend starting some shit (on an ex of the guy, one about to be), is this a common practice with chicks like this?

What fucking gives? You guys who've been around a while... enlighten me.

From experience I think they just like to stir the shit. I've had this happen with my wife and one of my "friends" GF after they split.

I put it down to jealousy, kind of "if I can't have it (relationship , not you OD) then no one can" type shit.

But in all honestly there is no way to tell what goes through their heads 90% of the time.

Cambodians, like their Thai counterparts, hate seeing someone else happy, if there not.

OD, I trust that your wife knows better than to believe everything that she hears.

I just got warned about another expat's girlfriend about a month ago (don't worry, the dude's not in my circle of friends, so it ain't nobody here).

He told me to keep my girlfriend as far away possible from XXXXXXXXXXXX's girlfriend because her hobby is causing shit with couples. It sounded like she might have had one hell of a successful track record already.
