As an aside, I don't like the contemporary misappropriation of the word 'fascist'. It gets used as a byword for intolerance of others' opinions when in actuality it means nothing of the sort.

I totally agree. I feel much the same about the aardvark. It is so much more than just the first animal in the dictionary. Before the written word it was seen, rightfully, as the proud and noble animal it is but following the work of men (I use the term lightly) such as Samuel Johnson, the noble aardvark has been misrepresented.
Then again, some peasants out there might well see this as the natural evolution of a living language. A language that changes and adapts, to allow it to remain the stalwart of social intercourse. What do these dimwits know?
