I came across this. It is in the Philippines, but is applicable to Cambodia also.

I met one European man with a Cambodian girlfriend. She would yell and scream and create huge scenes in public again and again and again. I believe it was her way of manipulating him. He didnt get it, and stayed with her.

I have also met western men that no decent girl would like.

Only one. I've seen many. All the talk about good Cambodian girls are quiet and blah, blah, blah goes out the window with the flying ashtrays when they enter into a relationship with a foreigner.

There are plenty of good folks, just cos they aren't in your neck of the woods making a fuss and breaking stuff don't mean they don't exist. Word.

I feel my brain numbing with each sentence.

I mean, she's right, but in the dullest sense.

Asian girls can be very manipulative and have a thousand ways to do it. Some men dont understand the games they play, and will tell you she is just upset. Trust me, she is trying to control you.

My advice to anyone with a girl who creates scenes in public, or any girl who plays the angry game, is end the relationship.

There are thousands of nice girls out there.

The easiest way to meet nice girls is get away from the tourist areas, and meet sensible girls living sensible lives.

Look for the better educated girls, and not the stupid ones. Some men think the well educated girls wont like them, so they only date stupid ones. Not every well educated girl is good, and not every poorly educated girl is bad, but the chances of meeting a good one will increase.

There are some men who dont have a very smart approach towards life. For example, they may get drunk a lot.

There are some men who dont treat girls well.

No decent girl will like them.

These men could make sense of their own life, treat girls well, then go and find a good one.

In my village 7th-9th grade would be considered better educated. Also plenty of higher " better educated " girls are il-informed about the world in general and inclined to xenophobia. This is not a culture that rewards intellectual curiosity.
