Saw this posted on the Sihanoukville expats Facebook page. It has since been deleted:

I see that Canadian Jonny Ferrari aka Marc McLay previously made news in Cambodia in 2016 for throwing his hooker out of a tuk tuk in Phnom Penh.

The Koon Khmer thread linked above says his profession is “marketing advisor” but some googling tells me that Jonny Ferrari aka Marc McLay is a professional wrestling manager and poker player who works in the casino gaming or online gaming business as the proprietor of “Ferrari Gaming” and “Ferrari Global Gaming LLC.”

Last year he was quoted in the Post saying “Cambodia is corrupt and everything and everyone can be bought in gaming.” https://calvinayre.com/2017/07/05/busin ... g-corrupt/

He was also accused this year by someone in the poker world of sending him death threats via audio file message: https://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/showt ... rs-or-scam

Mark McKlay is certainly off his rocker and a danger to society.

He threaten to kill my partner Halride on multiple occasions recorder by phone and also threaten me personally.

He was also reported to police here in Toronto, Canada.

Have heard nothing of him in past 2 months. Maybe somebody did him in???

Who puts threats in writing? A guy who runs a site like this? Looks like a setup.

Ahh yes. I see now...it's becoming clear..it's a conspiracy! Anyway, how do you get to owe money on online gambling? Don't you have to pay to play?

I assume the accusations against him are true. He throws girlfriends out of tuktuks, and various people accusing him of sending threatening messages. Seems plausible.

This is how most of my Khmer student's grammar look and sound like when speaking and writing English. It's very unique and can't be done by a native english speaker no matter how bad he is at his own language. It shows a connection to how Khmer is arranged grammatically which subsequently is followed unconciously when speaking/writing English. Even the emotion and the thought process behind the email is not foreign.
